ABOUT THE PROJECT
Curtis (冷炫忱), born in China and based in Beijing, is an electronic music producer and DJ who’s made his name by blending international EDM styles with his own musical sensibilities. He started out learning musical instruments as a child, then in university discovered synthesizers and music production, which set him on the path of making electronic music. Over the years he’s worked behind the scenes creating tracks for well‑known Chinese artists including Kris Wu (for the song “July”) and others like 尹正 (Yin Zheng) and Sunshine.
In 2016‑17 he made the jump from behind‑the‑scenes to the spotlight, signing with Spinnin’ Records, releasing original singles like No Other Reason and Eyelash, and performing at major international electronic music festival stages including Tomorrowland. His work tends to feature rich synths, bass‑drops, trap and future bass influences, with an aim to energise dancefloors and bridge the gap between Chinese EDM and global electronic music trends

WORKS
A Summary of my work
We rebuilt the structure first, focusing on clarity and priority. Then we created a flexible component system that gave the product consistency without sacrificing flexibility. Every design decision was tied back to a single goal: make this easier to use without dumbing it down.

SUMMARY
The new Vista interface feels lighter, faster, and easier to trust. It guides users instead of overwhelming them. Visual hierarchy is clear. Microinteractions feel deliberate. And the entire experience has a rhythm that wasn’t there before.
We delivered a full product design system, updated UI patterns, interaction states, and high-fidelity prototypes. Vista’s internal team now works from a shared Figma system that’s scalable, documented, and ready for future growth. The product finally looks as solid as it performs.
